PHR6 Schools will dismiss at 3:00 p.m. today, per the National Weather Service forecast of increasing risks of severe weather during normal dismissal times. Also, all after school activities (clubs, sports, practices, and special events) are cancelled for this evening. Unfortunately, the Baccalaureate is also cancelled and will not be rescheduled. PHR6 Friendly Reminders for Weather Safety: PHR6 Schools has emergency plans and backpacks with supplies prepared for our students, regular drills in sheltering areas, and closely monitors incoming weather through the National Weather Service. The New Beginnings Family Church at 301 West Cowden in Pleasant Hope offers a basement for sheltering during severe weather for those who need it. Please stay weather aware!

Our 8th graders will be traveling to Bolivar as scheduled unless severe weather warnings are issued closer to time. Updates will be shared as they are needed. High school track went to Skyline for their district track meet Saturday. Congratulations to Lexi Perryman 2nd shot and 2nd in Javelin, Annabelle Fitzlaff 4th pole vault, and Larrissa Corter 4th in disc. They will be moving onto sectionals May 11th at Blue Eye.
