Today, Pleasant Hope Middle School was notified of 2 positive Covid-19 exposures within Pleasant Hope Middle School. The positive cases were students at PHMS that were in attendance on Monday, September 21st while symptomatic. Please join us in wishing them a speedy recovery. At the direction of the Polk County Health Department, all students and employees with direct possibility of direct prolonged exposure to the individual who tested positive for Covid-19 have been notified by Polk County Health and/or our school nursing staff. If you did not receive a phone call or notification from them, no action is needed on your part. We want to remind students and parents that we are required to follow the guidelines of the CDC and Polk County Health Department in regards to self isolation and quarantine. We encourage everyone to do their part to keep everyone safe and allow our school to do the best we can to keep our school environment safe and moving forward. Thank you.

Cross Country team is 4 races into the season now off to a great start. Zane Hull is leading the boys and ran a new school record today running a 16:49 5k and placing 6th out of 175 runners. Ilandria Shuler is leading the girls and ran a season best 23:02 placing 32nd.
