2020-2021 Virtual Back to School Night
PHES will be conducting our annual Back to School Night virtually this year. All teachers will be available August 21st from 5:30pm-6:30pm. This is a great time to virtually meet your teacher, get a virtual tour of your classroom, and the PHES building.
Supply Drop Off Options
Students may bring their supplies on the first day. We understand that it is difficult for some students to carry all supplies. The PHES office staff will be available August 17th and 18th from 8:00am-2:00pm if you would like to drop off student supplies. Office staff will deliver these to your student’s classroom.
Kindergarten Students/ Parents
PHES will be available to allow kindergarten families the opportunity to tour the building. Please call the PHES office at 417-267-2277 to schedule an appointment. Tours will be given on August 11th, 17th or 18th from 8:30am-1:45pm.

We would really like all high school students to come by the Pleasant Hope High School between 8am and 3pm today August 13 or Friday August 14 to pick up schedules as well as pay their $25 annual chromebook fee.
This will help us expedite the start of school without having to take away valuable class time to collect these monies and forms.
All students and parents coming to the school are required to wear a mask to do our best to keep our school safe so we can open on time.
Freshman Orientation has been cancelled and all freshman are asked to please stop up at school as well to pick up their schedules and get their laptop chromebooks today or tomorrow.
If students are signing up to do all virtual schooling through our online curriculum in Edgenuity, we ask that you please come to the high school to turn in your form by the Friday, August 14 deadline. We will work to insure your child gets the tools and resources necessary to learn from home on the online curriculum.
As always, our team of Administrative Assistant Summer Orbin, Counselor Chris Lankford, and myself are working extremely hard to help our students and families get ready for this unprecedented school year. We want you to ask any questions and we will answer them all to help you feel safe and have a great year.
Please reach out to us with any questions please, and we would really like your child to make it school today or tomorrow to help us get schedules out and collect $25 chromebook fees before the start of school.

Reminder: Schedules will be available for pick-up on August 13th, 14th, 17th, and 18th for all 5th-8th grade students. Feel free to stop by between 8:00-3:00 on those dates to get your schedule. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and visitors should wear masks. Deposits ($25) for Chromebooks can be paid when picking up schedules. Each student will receive a new Chromebook and they will be able to take them home each night. Looking forward to a great year!

Pleasant Hope High School is encouraging all students to come in and pick up schedules and pay Chromebook Fees Tuesday, August 11th through Friday, August 14th between the hours of 8am-3pm.

Today the building administration will be sending out forms for anyone opting to keep kids at home and do virtual schooling online.
Admin working on a virtual option for parents not interested in sending students to regular school. Be watching for details in the next day or two.

The PH District is mailing building plans for the upcoming 2020/21 school year today. Please watch for those in the mail. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your building administrator.
Plans for both virtual and in school session will be mailed to families next week. You will receive a cover letter and the plans for the building of each student attending school. These plans are fluid and could change due to unforeseen circumstances. Be safe!
