Your high school Lady Pirates Volleyball team survived the first two weeks of preseason with 6am weights and conditioning and another 2 hours in the afternoon for practice! Varsity is ready to jamboree at Pierce City Tuesday the 22nd at 5pm! We would love to have a crowd to cheer us on 💛🏐🖤

After online enrollment is completed, your student will be able to obtain a copy of their class schedule. PHES Back to School Night is Thursday, August 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This is a great time to bring school supplies and meet all your teachers. Also, the PH Back to School Bash is at the High School on Thursday, August 17th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. All PHR6 families are welcome to attend! We will have food, carnival games, and FUN! Join us for a late night of family, friends, and fun!

For PHHS Parents & Students:  Hello Pirate Nation!  As school is nearing, there are a few important pieces of information we would like to share with you.  During the Back to School Bash on Thursday, August 17th, from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., students will complete a bingo card & be able to get their class schedule, pay Chromebook deposits & meet their teachers. There will be games behind the high school from 7 p.m - 9 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there! During the Back to School Bash, we will have a Freshman/New Student Orientation in the HS Conference Room. Freshmen & parents can attend either the 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. meeting. During this meeting, we will discuss things pertinent to the start of school, resources, expectations as a new PHHS student, & ways to help ensure student success.  Only students enrolled in dual credit courses for the fall semester will have a chromebook checked out to them on Thursday night. All other PHHS students will have chromebooks distributed during the first week of school.  To improve safety, there is a new car rider Drop-Off/Pickup Location for 2023-24 school year. Car Rider Drop-Off/Pickup before and after school will take place behind the High School (in the west parking lot); car rider drop-off/pickup during school can take place in the front drive. The student/staff parking lot will be designated for parking only (no drop-off/pickup); the front drive will be designated for School Bus Only drop-off/pickup. All PHHS students will receive their locker assignments during 1st hour on Monday, August 21st. We look forward to seeing you soon!

PHMS Back to School Night is Thursday, August 17th from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. This is a great time to bring your lock for your locker and meet all your teachers. Students must be registered prior to this event to pick up a schedule. Office will hand out 7th/8th schedules and Counselor will hand out 5th/6th schedules. Also, the PH Back to School Bash is at the High School on Thursday, August 17th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. All PHR6 families are welcome to attend! We will have food, carnival games, and FUN! Hello Pirate Nation Families, This is a reminder to look for the TeacherEase email online registration invitation that was sent out to parents & guardians on Monday. Please check your email's spam folder if you can't find the invitation. All returning students need to be registered and this enrollment process takes the place of the large packet of registration papers used each year to update information. You can add siblings who are starting school here to your family and enroll them by accessing the open enrollment link. New families in the district will need to go to your student's building and complete the online enrollment. Please bring a proof of residence, proof of birth & immunization records for your students. Early Registration will close on Sunday, with Late Enrollment Registration opening on Monday, August 14th, 2023. Pleasant Hope Schools Online Enrollment for ALL students for the 2023-2024 school year begins on Monday, August 7th. Parents of returning students should receive a welcome email with setup instructions through our new SIS system (Common Goal - School Insight) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday. If you are a returning family that doesn't receive an email, please reach out to the District Office on Tuesday, August 8th (District Office Phone: 417-267-2850). Online enrollment will significantly reduce the amount of paper usage, and ensure quick and accurate processing of student information. NEW STUDENTS/FAMILIES can enroll in-person at your student's school (Elementary, Middle, or High School) on Monday, August 7th or Tuesday, August 8th; new student families will need to bring Proof of Birth, Proof of Residency, and Immunization Records. ALL ENROLLMENTS FOR BOTH RETURNING AND NEW STUDENTS will require Proof of Residency (These are typically formal documents such as a Rental Contract, Utility Bill, Real Estate Contract signed by all parties, Payroll Check, W-4, etc., that list your name and address, and are dated within the last month.). Online enrollment can be completed via computer, cell phone, or in-person at any of your student's school offices utilizing a school Chromebook. Please be sure to complete your student(s) online enrollment by Friday, August 11th. We can't wait to welcome our students and families "Back to School!"

REMINDER!!! Fall 2023 Sports Meeting Sunday, August 6, 2:00 - 3:30 pm at the Middle School. This is a Mandatory meeting for all athletes and their parents. You will have the opportunity to meet with the coaches for each individual sport, receive a current schedule for practices and games, information about fall sports pictures, and pick up your Pleasant Hope Practice Pass. You will not be allowed to practice until you have a Practice Pass. The first day of practice for high school is Monday, August 7. The first day of practice for middle school is Monday, August 14.

This week's summit focused on innovative teaching and learning that is student-led, so that students and teachers are working together in their learning to reach shared goals, which are specifically identified for each individual student. Thank you to our staff that chose to commit their personal time to attend the Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts' Innovation Summit professional development sessions this week.
