Congrats to our young writers club! Natalie won the bill of rights essay contest and the other students will have their work published in a young writers National book. Way to go pirate scholars!
The Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys Basketball teams will both play in tournaments again this week. The girls will travel to Everton and the boys will travel to Morrisville. Each team will open on Tuesday (Nov 29th) evening. Both teams went 2-1 in tournament play last week. Good luck to the Pirates and Lady Pirates this week!

The Pleasant Hope R-VI School District is currently accepting applications for two full-time special education paraprofessionals for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. Pleasant Hope offers a 4-day school week (Tuesday-Friday), competitive salary, full health benefits, and a family-like working atmosphere. Substitute certification, fingerprint and satisfactory background check required.
The paraprofessionals will support the specific needs of students and assist the classroom teacher in meeting the academic, social, behavioral, and health of all students. Experience teaching special education students in small group settings focusing on emotional behavioral support is preferred; however, experience is not required.
