Mrs. Lair’s fifth grade ELA students have been researching the positive and negative effects of new technology. Each group presented their arguments and students voted on whose was the strongest.

The PHHS Lady Pirates faced the Rush Homeschool Athletics team in the Everton Basketball Tournament tonight. Great effort by our Lady Pirates; final score Rush 53 & Lady Pirates 42.




Nancy, Nolan, Jack, Kyra and Natalie were selected to have their short stories published in The Young Writers' Anthology.

Seventh-grade students embarked on an educational journey on November 21, 2023, as they explored the WWI Museum, Liberty Tower, Union Station and Science City in the vibrant city of Kansas City.




The Middle School Girls Basketball game scheduled for Thursday, November 30, will be played at the Pierce City Elementary gym (Central Elementary school) 400 N Gibbs Ave, Pierce City, MO 65723
Another night of middle school girls basketball: The Lady Pirates fell to Lockwood but the hustle and teamwork were strong until the final buzzers. Thanks to our fans and cheerleaders for supporting the team tonight!

PHMS Girls Basketball tonight vs. Diamond. Great hustle from our players and a spectacular halftime performance from our cheerleaders.




The varsity boys basketball team will have open gym from 9 am to 10 am on Saturday, 11/25/23!
HS Pirate Basketball won 3rd place in the Verona Tip Off Classic! The Pirates defeated Wheaton 50-41. Great Job, Pirates!!





HS girls fell just a little short in the Fair Play Tournament 3rd place game vs New Covenant Academy 36-33




The HS girls battled hard, played great defense, but came up short vs Greenwood, falling 29-21. They play tomorrow for 3rd place

Pleasant Hope Middle School and Elementary students enjoyed their visit from Mike and Jess with Next Gen Assemblies.










Mr. Ginnings' 7th Grade Geography students researched and planned their own Caribbean cruises. A few of the bravest students shared them with the class.









PHR6 is in session on Monday, November 20th. PHES will operate on a Friday Preschool and Specials schedule.
