PHES will be celebrating 100 days of school on Thursday, March 10. Students and staff are encouraged to come dressed as if they are 100 years old! Let's show our Pirate Pride!
Author Roland Smith came to visit PHES for the One County One Author initiative. PHES teachers and students read his novel, Storm Runners, and 1st graders learned and researched about weather and how to be weather watchers…just like the main character Chase! They created posters about types of severe weather, kept a daily weather journal, and made breeze buddies to help watch the wind. A HUGE thanks to Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Mau for putting together such a memorable moment for our students!
