Preschool read the story Ten Apples Up on Top by Theo LeSieg in library. They then practiced walking with an apple on their head, drew themselves, and then painted apples on it. Apple Fun! 🍎

This week we made models using play doh to represent the making of photosynthesis. Students had a check list to follow that include labeling where water, sunlight, and CO2 entered the plant and where oxygen left the plant. They learned that sunlight gets trapped in the plant and reacts with CO2 and H2O to make glucose which feeds the plant.

As a reminder Kiddie Cheer Camp starts this week! Camp days are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:45-5:30 in the elementary gym. Please have your child dress in athletic clothes and shoes during camp days. The performance will be at Monday's home football game during halftime. The game will start at 6 pm. We ask that your child wear their camp shirt, athletic shorts or pants, their cheer bow, and bring their poms to the game. We will be having campers line up on the track towards the end of the second quarter. Please do not send your camper down until asked to do so. If you have any further questions please reach out to Coach Rogers at krogers@phr6.org.
