We will be in the office between 8:00am - 2:30 pm. Adjustments may have been made to student schedules.
During high school, students can choose between a Chromebook usage fee of $25 (in order to bring their Chromebook and charger home) or a Chromebook lease fee of $50. Students that pay the lease fee each year for four years (or all at once for a total payment of $200) will be allowed to keep their Chromebook and charger upon graduation. Students who are not able or chose not to pay the usage or lease fee will be required to leave their Chromebook and charger in the high school office at the end of each school day.
We look forward to seeing you next week!

IMPORTANT CARE MOBILE UPDATE: Due to parking lots being closed for sealing and striping across the district, the Care Mobile will be parked near the entrance of the football field. Please email Nurse Ashlee with questions at ashleejones@phr6.org.
CoxHealth Care Mobile will be on site between the Middle School and Elementary School TOMORROW, July 27th from 9am-2pm to provide sport physicals, vaccines, sick visits, and well child checks. This is open to all students entering PreK-12th grade. Incoming Pre-K, Kindergarten, 8th grade and 12th grade students and parents, this is a great opportunity to get up to date on immunizations required for back to school! Athletes, the first day of fall sports practice is August 8th, this would be an excellent opportunity to ensure you have a physical on file for the next two years. Please contact Nurse Ashlee at 417-267-2277 ext. 2203 or ashleejones@phr6.org if you would like to schedule an appointment, would like the forms sent to you, or if you have any questions!
High school XC practice is only two weeks away (August 8th) for those interested in running this season. Every athlete will need to have physical and insurance forms submitted before the first practice.
For the HS, we are setting a high goal. We want to send not only individuals to state, but an entire team to state. To achieve this high goal, we have to hold a high standard in our preparation in order to get there. I will be at the school this week on M/W/F (July 25, 27, & 29) at 7am for anyone who wants to get a jump on conditioning.
Next week (Aug 1-5) is dead week which means that coaches cannot be present and school facilities cannot be used for training. Athletes may still run on their own or with teammates (off campus) to help prepare themselves for when practice begins. I would encourage everyone to do so.
The temps will be hot and we will be starting practice at 4pm beginning August 8, so be sure you are drinking water even now (NO SODA!) By getting a start on conditioning and proper hydration, athletes will help their bodies be better able to endure the extreme conditions.
Jr. High athletes should follow these same steps to prepare and report for the first jr. high practice on August 15th at 4pm.
