The PHES Student Council will be selling Heart-A-Grams the week of
Jauary 31 - February 7. They are $1 each and come with a sweet treat!
They will be delivered on Friendship Party day at school.
Extra forms are available in the elementary office.
We will host Courtwarming on Friday, 1/27. Games and coronation will take place at the Middle School. The night will start at 5:30 and activities will be in the following order: 2 quarters of JV Boys, Coronation, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys. We will offer free admission for all Alumni. We would ask that all alumni register when entering. At halftime of the Varsity Girls game, we will announce all alumni in attendance and their year of graduation. Come out and support the Pirates on Friday!

Pleasant Hope Schools is closed tomorrow, January 25th due to inclement weather. Tomorrow will be the PHR6 Schools’ AMI DAY #1. Please make sure that your child completes the AMI DAY #1 work; if you have questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
Elementary School - AMI learning packets were sent home 1st semester; if your child has lost their packet, please contact their teacher.
Middle & High School - Day #1 & #2 AMI packets were sent home with students today (all resources needed are included in the packet). As of now, students will NOT be utilizing the emergency packet.
Teachers will be available via email from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on AMI days.
All after school practices have been cancelled for 1/24/23, due to the winter advisory that will be in effect starting at 4 pm.
The Middle School Boys basketball game at Clever for Tuesday, 1/21/23 has been canceled. It will not be rescheduled.
A decision will be made later today on Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball practices for today.

First place overall middle school-PHMS!!! Way to go. Our three teams placed 3rd, 8th, and 11th to earn the top team score in this year’s Morrisville History Bowl.

PH Middle School Boys Basketball fell to Ash Grove tonight, but played with heart as always!
Second game this week for our PHMS middle school boys. Monday they battled Pierce City and tonight the take on Ash Grove. Come support our Pirates!

Pleasant Hope Pirates lost to Morrisville 65-44 to place 4th in the Pleasant Hope Boys Tournament.
The Lady Pirates will play for 3rd place on Sat at 1 pm.
Life 360 will not be providing snacks for the remainder of the 22-23 school year. Teachers are making plans for their classroom moving forward. Please be on the look out for a message from your students' classroom teacher in regards to a plan for snack.
Congrats to our Lady Pirates on their victory over Niangua tonight! Stop by Pirate field house Thursday night as they take on the #1 seeded Chadwick Cardinals at 7pm.

The Varsity Girls portion of the Pleasant Hope Tournament starts tonight! We will host four games, starting at 4 pm. The Lady Pirates take on Niangua at 5:30. Good luck, Lady Pirates!
The boys PHMS basketball hosted Stockton tonight. The boys lost to a talented Tiger team, but our Pirates played well and will only improve as the season continues!
Pirates battle back and beat Hermitage 63-59 in the first round of the Pleasant Hope Tournament! Great Job Pirates!
Pirates will now play Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

Overtime: To-Be-Determined by Superintendent on an as-needed basis by the Superintendent for specific school activities/events
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the School Resource Officer (SRO) is to provide a safe and secure environment for the students, staff, and visitors of the Pleasant Hope R-VI School District.
Qualifications:
The SRO will report directly to the Superintendent and shall meet the following qualifications:
1. Preferred two years minimum full-time law enforcement or comparable experience.
2, Meet all criteria to be commissioned by the Pleasant Hope Police Department and submit a completed Pleasant Hope Police Application & Pleasant Hope Schools Application.
3. Meet and maintain all criteria to be POST certified by the State of Missouri (Class A - 21 years or older).
4. SRO Certification recommended, but not required.
5. Demonstrate the ability to work with students, and submit a completed Pleasant Hope R-VI School District Support Staff Application.
6. Completed background check through both Pleasant Hope Police Department and Pleasant Hope R-Vl School District.
