The PHMS Pirate girls and boys basketball teams hosted Hermitage tonight. It was a great night of hoops with a terrific crowd. Thanks for supporting our players and cheerleaders. The boys B team won. Our other teams fell to the Hornets. The Pirates played tough till the end!




Seventh grade students participated in team building activities to get to know each other. In this team building activity, students used pipes to move marbles from one side of the room to the other side of the room. Students had to engage in problem solving strategies.




Students in Ms. Peterman's Explore and Enrich class put together puzzles as they worked on collaborative problem-solving methods.




Congratulations to Makenzi, a PHMS fifth grader, who won the summer reading bingo grand prize, a new television!

PHMS student council elections were held today! We are so proud of everyone who participated and gave a speech.




Congratulations to the 24-25 Student Council members! Ezekiel, Paisley, Jentry ,Bailey, Hadley, Della, Iris, Annabelle, Lyla ,Austin ,Wyatt and Ainsley.


Varsity Volleyball beats Cassville in three straight, coming from behind in the final game.



JV Volleyball wins 2 straight to defeat Cassvile. Both were close games.

Jr Cheer Camp Update!
Due to needing youth sizes for Jr Cheer Camp we had to change the shirt brand. They are now Tultex brand. Below are the sizing charts for youth and adult. If you want to change the shirt sizes please email Coach Rogers at krogers@phr6.org by TOMORROW (9/5).


Mrs. Edwards' 5th grade math stars starting their Middle School careers out by learning how to find volume by building objects from cubes.




Mrs. Lair's fifth grade ELA classes spent some time in nature making observations. Then students used their knowledge of parts of speech to create some wonderful nature inspired poetry.
